EuroNanoForum reveals how nanotechnology can contribute to solving the grand challenges of our time. The event covers research breakthroughs, industrial innovations and the societal impact of nanotechnology. The event takes place in Budapest from 30th May to 1st June 2011 at the Budapest Congress and World Trade Center.
Join leading researchers to showcase your work to wide range of industrial and academic experts. Submit your abstract to apply for a prestigious speaking slot and poster place in Europe’s largest nanotechnology event.
Abstracts are expected to specify potential contributions to solving grand challenges with nanotechnology.
The Lund Declaration of July 2009 specifies the Grand Challenges faced by European society and businesses that should be solved by sustainable solutions in several areas such as global warming, tightening supplies of energy, water and food, ageing societies, public health, pandemics and security with the overarching challenge of turning Europe into an eco-efficient economy.
EuroNanoForum 2011 contributions may address scientific, industrial and/or societal aspects:
• Science and technology, highlighting world-class research
• Innovation and business, identifying nanotechnology opportunities and barriers throughout the value chain
• Society, taking a holistic approach to address societal benefits and risks.
The call closes on 31st of January 2011. Submit your abstract at the conference website here.
