Doing business with NanoNed

If a company from outside the consortium (often a member of the users’ committee) is interested in obtaining a licence then this can, in principle, be granted in exchange for the current market fee.

In order to prevent ambiguity, it should be noted that the knowledge transfer and exploitation process is not limited to the NanoNed consortium and not even to the users’ committees. This process could also take place outside of the consortium and users' committees, and therefore businesses outside the consortium can also obtain licence rights. If necessary an independent expert can be consulted in the knowledge transfer and exploitation process in order to determine the market value of the intellectual property rights.
